My thoughts on All Quiet on the Western Front

Even though i' ve only read the first couple of chapters of All Quiet on the Western Front I think this book varys from all other war books I've read before. The story focuses on survival where as other war books focus on war scenes. So far this book really intrgues me!

Short Stories Response

Over the past unit we have read short stories. The one that stood out to me was the Cast of the Amantialldo. In this story the main character Montresor does certain actions that affect others. Just like in life peoples actions and words truely do affect us in a positive or negative way. In the case of The Cast of the Amantillado Montressor , is a negative influence on others.
